North Shore Finishing did a great job of repainting a dresser and nightstand. Both were originally in white but years of being used by my daughter had taken their toll. In particular, nail polish on the top of the night stand. And their price was very reasonable. Turnaround time was quick, too. - Steven Saul

I can’t believe how beautifully my antique table was redone. The refinishing work is unbelievable. The depth and color of the wood is incredible. Jon is very pleasant and prompt to work with. We sent a hope chest in to be refinished, I was extremely pleased with the way it turned out. Prior to Jon refinishing it, the top looked almost black from age and was beat up. When we got it back, the wood grain was gorgeous. He really brought out the antique beauty of the chest with the different woods. It is now the first thing we see when we enter mom's foyer, and she loves it! Oh, and by the way, did I mention the service was superb? Jon called back promptly to schedule the job. Even though the day of the scheduled pick-up, I got confused on the time(my fault), Jon was very pleasant and rearranged his schedule at the last minute to accommodate me. I have never written a review before but was so happy about the job we recently had, I needed to share my experience. The piece is very sentimental beautiful antique chest of drawers having belonged to my Mother, which over the years had weathered considerably. & I was afraid it was too delicate to trust anyone but with Jon, of Northshore Finishing, as he seemed by far the most competent and knowledgeable of the candidates I interviewed. & in addition, he was super personable, polite and comfortable with my questions. He promised me a quick turn around on the job as I wanted to surprise my daughter with her Grandmother's dresser when she arrived home from college for Thanksgiving (ps, no one else even came close to committing to that tight timeframe, right on top of the holidays!). & He delivered on time and the piece is gorgeous! The inlay & the gilding shows up bright and distinctive. The natural color variations of the separate unique woods were preserved and refinished beautifully! My daughter will treasure this now sturdy and beautifully restored piece and memory of her Grandmother for years to come, thanks to Jon.
